Lorestan University's Growth Center has been established with the aim of supporting innovative research, commercializing scientific achievements, creating the necessary infrastructure for technology development, and assisting in transforming creative ideas into sustainable businesses. By providing a suitable environment, specialized consultations, and support facilities, this center facilitates the growth and success of technology units. Furthermore, in order to improve students' capabilities in the field of business-related skills and personal development that a student should learn during their studies, in addition to acquiring some of these skills during their studies and while completing student theses, students need to be trained in skills related to entrepreneurship, teamwork, business knowledge, and pioneering in the field of technology and innovation. Accordingly, Lorestan University's Growth and Innovation Center was established in 1402 under the supervision of the Vice President for Research and Technology of Lorestan University. University growth and technology centers can be a platform for the development and production of technological science, the expansion of problem-oriented research, and knowledge-based entrepreneurship. Lorestan University's Growth and Technology Center can offer programs and opportunities for students and graduates of this university to transform their business ideas into the commercialization stage. Training and consulting are other functions of Lorestan University's Growth and Technology Center; therefore, providing educational and consulting services in the field of entrepreneurship and business management to students and faculty members of the university is an important issue. Other functions of the university's Growth and Technology Center include communication with industry and the local community, establishing relationships with companies, local industries, and other commercial organizations to create collaborations and share knowledge and resources, which may play a significant role in local and regional entrepreneurial development. Another important advantage of this center is facilitating the acquisition of financial resources; in this way, the Growth Center can help entrepreneurs to attract the financial resources needed to launch and develop their businesses by collaborating with capital owners. Creating opportunities for networking and exchanging information and experiences between local entrepreneurs can be achieved through the university's Growth Center. Currently, Lorestan University's Growth Center has 20 active technology cores.
